KDF-55 media is especially effective in removing metals such as Chlorine, Lead, Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium, Selenium, Mercury, Iron and other metals. Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) removes chlorine, THMs, PCBs and hundreds of other organic contaminants.
