All Ceramic water filters have replaceable cartridges.  The ceramic cartridge effectively removes harmful bacteria such as E. Coli, Fecal coliform, Samonella, Streptococcus, and cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia) and sediment.  The ceramic cartridge can be cleaned up to 30 times - (about once a month is recommended).  The single cartridge filters have a ceramic cartridge only.  The double cartridge filters have the ceramic cartridge first, then the Crystal Quest 5 stage KDF/GAC cartridge. The Triple cartridge filters begin with a sediment cartridge, then the ceramic cartridge, and finally the Crystal Quest 5 stage KDF/GAC cartridge.

Use the ceramic water filters where the water supply may not be microbiologically safe.

Undersink Ceramic Replaceable Cartridge Filters install neatly under the sink.  Comes with attractive faucet and all necessary installation hardware.  It is easy to use and installs neatly on all standard sinks without plumbing or special tools. (Standard sinks are sinks with a section of flexible tubing. Sinks with all copper connections will have to cut the pipe and install the "Tee" (soldering).  The Refrigerator Ice-maker hook up can be added to undersink water filters.  This a "Tee" in the output stream that adds a line of filtered water that can be connected to the refrigerator.

Refrigerator Ice Maker Hook Up

Neat little hook up that sends a line to your refrigerator.  All the connections are push connect, so just insert your flexible refrigerator line, or use a rigid to tubing adaptor (not provided)  to make the connection to the refrigerator.  The provided tubing connects to the output of the water filter, and the tubing provided with the faucet (included with undersink units) connects to the other end (the one shown without tubing inserted).
